Alexandra is a Founding and Managing Partner at AKNAdvocates, a full-service law firm based in Kampala Uganda. An experienced commercial lawyer with a keen interest in corporate governance, Alexandra has provided counsel to entities ranging from SMEs to Multinational companies from various sectors.

Alexandra has previously worked with the Intellectual Property Unit at the University of Cape Town, South Africa and Advocates Coalition for Development and Environment, a leading think tank in Uganda.

She graduated from the University of Cape Town with an LLM in Intellectual Property Law awarded with Distinction. She also has training in Micro-finance Regulation from the International Law Institute, a Diploma in legal Practice from the Law Development Center, Kampala, and a bachelor of Law from Makerere University, Uganda. She is an alumnus of Gayaza High School.‍
