This year, we are on a mission to transform the lives of women across 25 districts in Uganda.
In partnership with the Uganda Communications Commission and Zimba Women, we are equipping women in the informal sector with essential digital skills. These initiatives aim to unlock new opportunities, enabling women to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
Our collective efforts are focused on bridging the gender digital divide—ensuring women not only have access to technology but also the knowledge to leverage it for economic empowerment and social inclusion.
Why It Matters
Globally, women face significant barriers to accessing and utilizing technology effectively, particularly in informal sectors. By targeting underserved regions in Uganda, we aim to close this gap and build a future where women can contribute to and benefit from the digital economy equally.
What’s Next?
With support from Uganda Communications Commission, our programs are set to deliver impactful training, resources, and tools to empower thousands of women. From gaining digital literacy to exploring entrepreneurial opportunities online, this initiative is a step toward building a more inclusive digital future.
